Rosie Willis

Rosie is a member of St. John Catholic Church and a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary Court #32.

She is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Mary Ann Willis; sisters, Oreta Provost, Irene Trahan; brothers, Roy Joseph, Alcide Joseph and Whitney Joseph.

Rosie is survived by her devoted husband of 68 years, Homer Willis, Sr.; three children, Homer Willis, Jr., John A. Willis (Pamela), and Barbara Ann Hatch (Johnny Ray) all of Port Arthur, TX; three grandchildren, Sharlene Hatch of Port Arthur, TX, John A. Willis Jr. of Tempe, AZ, and JaMall A. Willis of Spring, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at St. John Catholic Church, 620 El Vista Rd. (53rd St.). Viewing is from 9 a.m. until service time. Fr. Sinclair Oubre will be officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery
