Albeny Joseph Cormier

Cormier, Albeny Joseph-- Our very dear husband, father, grandfather, and friend passed away suddenly at the Guelph General Hospital on Wednesday, December 12, 2007. Albeny Joseph Cormier, in his 77th year, was the devoted husband of his Florence (Maillet) Cormier of Guelph. Caring and protective father to his four girls, Joanna (Angelo) of Guelph, Shirley (Larry) of Cambridge, Joyce (Steve) of York, Pennsylvania, and Dianne (Jeff) of Tobermory, ON. Beloved grandfather of Laurel and Steven. Albeny is survived by his many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and many friends from far and wide. He was a true and kind gentleman; a family man with a heart of gold and a winning smile; a travelling man, "King of the Road". He was as reliable as the sunrise and sunset. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Sunday, December 16, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Albeny will be held on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at Holy Rosary Church 175 Emma St., Guelph, on Monday, December 17, 2007 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
