Alma Lawton

LAWTON, Alma Leonie In her 99th year, passed away into God's loving care on Friday, February 19, 2010, at The Waterford Long Term Care Centre, Oakville, Ontario. Alma was the life-long partner and beloved wife of the late Altamont Vincent Lawton (January 2, 2006). She was the devoted mother of seven children: Marjorie lngle of Cambridge, Raymond Lawton of Virginia, U.S.A., Denis Lawton, Patrick Lawton (Colleen) of Burlington, Imelda Lawton- Lawler of Toronto, Kevin Lawton of Guelph, and Philip Lawton (Barbara) of Milton. She was the dear grandma of twenty-one grandchildren, twenty- one great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. Alma is now united and peacefully resting with her husband Alty. Her love and devotion will remain with her family and friends forever. Resting at the Gilbert Maclntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel , 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Monday, February 22, 2010 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A special vigil for Alma's family and close friends will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 3:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma St., Guelph, on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Interment, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
