STRICKLAND, Andrew Stanley— September 22, 1917—July 3, 2015 Peacefully at the Derbecker Heritage House, St. Jacob’s, Ontario, surrounded by his loving family, in his 98th year. Stan Strickland is predeceased by his ever loving wife of 73 years Lois (nee Craig) Strickland (2012). Survived by his cherished daughters Juanita (Richard) Kutchcoski, Kaye (Harry) McCaughey, Marjorie (Alvin) Kirsch and Paulette Strickland. Stan will be dearly missed by his 11 loving grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He is survived by his siblings Isabel, Lila and Doug. Predeceased by three infant daughters, his great-grandson Adam Taylor, his parents Rufus and Maria Strickland and by his four brothers. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be held at West Covehead Cemetery, Prince Edward Island at a later date. At Stan’s request, there will be no funeral service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph.
