Anna Maria Raco

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, January 31, 2023. Annita Raco (Maugeri), in her 90th year, was the beloved wife of the late Emilio Raco (December 1, 2021), for an amazing 66 and a half years. She was the loving mother of Dominic and his wife Tina, Maria and her late husband Martin Lammers, Michael and his wife Debbie, Albert and his wife Carol, Lina and her husband Peter Pavlinich and Frank and his wife Andrea. Annita was the proud Nonna of 21 grandchildren and of 14 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Michele Maugeri and Natalina Valerioti, and survived by her siblings, Stella Lieto of Kitchener, Vittoria Maugeri, and Cesare Maugeri, both of Italy. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive their family and friends on Friday, February 3, 2023 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Basilica of Our Lady 28 Norfolk St., Guelph on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Marymount Cemetery Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Church of Our Lady Building Fund or the Foundation of Guelph General Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
