Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side at Hospice Wellington on Sunday, September 24, 2023. Anne (Rogers) Wagar in her 64th year, was the beloved wife of Ted Wagar. She was the loving mother of Trevor and his wife Stephanie and Jordan and his partner Melanie Carruthers. Anne was the proud grandmother of Zella and Zeke. She was the dear sister of Sandy Rogers and his wife Gayle and was the dear aunt of Kelly and Kristine.
Anne is predeceased by her adopted parents James and Maude (nee Bambrick) Rogers. Is survived by her biological mother Glenda Young and her sisters and brother, Allyson (Raymond) Lori, Jeff and Krista (Derek) (Nova Scotia). Brothers and Sisters in-law Nancy and Bill, Linda and Scott, Arthur and Eleanor, Barry and Stephanie and Julia and Morley. She will be sadly missed by her many cousins, nieces and nephews.
It can also be mentioned that Anne had many strong bonds with her carpool work and fitness friends. She was an avid baker, had a zest for cooking, and when she retired enjoyed traveling and camping with her husband. Her grandchildren brought a special spark into her life that provided her with immense joy.
Private cremation has taken place. The family will receive their friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St. Guelph on Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 9 – 11 a.m. A Celebration of Anne’s Life will be held in the chapel at 11 a.m. A reception will follow in the Hart Fellowship Lounge.
