
ROY, Annette It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Annette Roy on February 14, 2008. Beloved wife of Anil Roy for 42 years. Loving mother of Nicola (Arden) Rosaasen, Julian (Renu) Roy and Matthew Roy. Proud grandmother of Canute, Nathaniel and Leif Rosaasen, and Aanika and Jaya Roy. Annette was born in the village of Harlington, South Yorkshire on July 27, 1947 to Thomas and Gladys Noble, the fifth of six children, Peter (deceased), Francis, Morris, Brenda and Malcolm. In 1970, she emigrated to Canada with her husband and two young children. She built a life for her family for 26 years in Humboldt, Saskatchewan before retiring to Saskatoon and then Guelph, Ontario. The family is grateful for the excellent and compassionate care Annette received at Guelph General Hospital. The family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, "Hart Chapel", 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Monday, February 18, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2008, in the funeral home chapel at 12 p.m. A reception will follow in the fellowship lounge. If desired, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pain and Symptom Management Foundation, Guelph General Hospital.
