Antonio Longo

Suddenly, at the Guelph General Hospital, in his 93rd year, with his family by his side on Wednesday, July 31, 2019. Antonio Longo was the beloved husband for 67 years of Rosa (nee Prestipino) Longo. He was the dear father of Carmelina (Caesar) Misiti, Vincent, Florence (Mike) DeAbreu and Nancy (Gary) Grazziotto. Antonio was the loving Nonno of Domenica (Don) Johnson, Rosanne Misiti, John (Josie) Misiti, Alyssa (Brian) Pichna, Adam DeAbreu, Brandon Grazziotto and Alaina Grazziotto and the great-grandfather of Lily, George, Rose, Mia and Luca. Antonio is survived by his brother-in-law Salvatore Limina. He was predeceased by his sister Fortunata Limina.

Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Antonio will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 8:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John’s Church, 45 Victoria Rd. N., Guelph, on Saturday, August 3, 2019 11 a.m. Entombment, Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to McMaster Children’s Hospital, Hamilton, would be appreciated by the family.
