A quiet and gentle man, Bruce passed peacefully at home (because he wouldn't have it any other way) on October 13, 2019 at the age of 70.
He leaves behind his wife and best friend of almost 40 years, Deirdre.
Predeceased by his parents, Peter & Muriel. He was a loving father to his children, Chaundra (Dave) and Ryan (Dana).
He was a proud Grandad, and will be sadly missed by his "grands"; Riley, Matthew, Kaelin, Daniel, Greyson, and Zachary.
Fondly remembered by his cousins; Cathie (Phil), Diane (Ritch), John (Cindy), and Laura, and his mother-in-law, Catherine, brothers-in-law Doug (Jane) and John, and sister-in-law Veronica.
Bruce was born in Lachine, moving to Etobicoke in the late 60's and after spending most of his life in the west end of Toronto, Bruce and Deirdre moved to Guelph in 2008.
Bruce loved to be with family and was always up for a gathering of friends.
His interests and passions ranged far and wide. As a sports fan (especially of the Habs, F1 and the Raptors), an excellent cook, and an avid reader,
Bruce was an authority on numerous topics; many will miss his thoughtful and engaging conversations.
We will be gathering in loving memory, to celebrate the life of Bruce Lloyd-Craig on
Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 5.00 pm at The Rich Uncle Tavern - 45 King St W, Kitchener, ON N2G 1A1 - We will be upstairs in The Study.
