Passed away suddenly at his residence in Puslinch, Ontario on September 27, 2014 in his 62nd year. Beloved father to Brett (Colleen) and Corey (Johanna). Loving grandpa to Hanna, Declan, Patrick, and Chloe. Proud son of Gordon (1996) and Jean Speers. He will be missed by his sisters Brenda (Frank Thompson – 1995), Bonnie Speers, Barbara Ann (Bob Cross), and brother Barry Speers. He will also be missed by Jayne Speers. Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph for visitation on Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 7 – 9 p.m. Cremation to take place with a private burial of ashes at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to McMaster Children’s Hospital or to the Arthritis Society would be appreciated by the family.
