Rivard, Carmen M. -- Peacefully, with family by her side, at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Guelph, on Sunday, November 27, 2011. Carmen M. Rivard, in her 80th year, was the beloved daughter of the late Jacques and Alida Rivard. She was the loving sister of Maurice Rivard of Toronto, and Helen Wheeler of Penticton, BC, and of the late Pauline Camidge, Sally Goetz, Jacqueline Rivard, Theresa Mitro, Philip Rivard and Fern Rivard. Survived by many nieces,nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Carm loved children and devoted her career to teaching in the St. Catharines Catholic School Board Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St.N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 29th, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Carmen will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Church 98 Alice St., Guelph, on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 10 a.m. Entombment, Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
