D. Gordon Dennis

DENNIS, Gordon-- Suddenly, at the age of 58, on Sunday, May 10. 2009. Gordon Dennis was the beloved husband of Lee Ann (nee Palubiski) Dennis. He was the dear father of Danielle Richer (Ronald) and Jennifer Sousa (Frank), all of Guelph. Gordon was the adoring grandfather of Ethan and Mackenzie Richer. He is survived by his siblings Joyce Coles, Myra Ellig, Jeff Dennis, Perry Dennis, Bryan Dennis, Donna Baumhauer, and Todd Dennis, by his mother, Gwen Dennis, and by many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Gordon was predeceased by his father Donald Dennis. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Rockwood Chapel, 117 Guelph St., Rockwood, on Thursday, May 14, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at Rockwood United Church, 119 Harris St., Rockwood, on Friday, May 15, 2009 at 1 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home 519-856-1100 or send condolences at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com).
