WALLACE, Eric Evans – It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our father/grandfather, Eric, after a lengthy and determined battle with leukemia. Born in Dublin, Ireland, on September 9, 1928, he was a resident of Burlington and formerly of Guelph. Much loved father of Sharon (David), Carolyn (Joseph), and Kevin (Marlene). Cheeky grandfather to Roxanne, Kristi, Carlton, Mitchel and Zachary. Predeceased, and now, united with his beloved wife Isobel and special companion, Jean Wright. Friends may visit to share stories at the ‘Hart Chapel', Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Sunday, February 7, 2010 from 2-5 p.m. A Celebration Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, February 8, 2010 at 10:30 a.m. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of one's choice in Eric's memory would be appreciated by the family
