Florence Fojt

May 5, 1938 - March 4, 2018

Passed away peacefully at home in her 79th year. Much loved mother to Michelle and her husband, Mike, and Nana to Caleb, Ella and Evelyn. Cherished sister to Heather, Joan (deceased), Averill (deceased), Jim (deceased), David (deceased), Bruce, Ron, Graham and Andrew. Dear aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews in New Zealand, Florida, Japan, England, and Australia. Florence travelled the world after she left her native New Zealand at the age of 21. She visited Asia, Egypt and Europe, and lived in Denmark and Bermuda before settling in Canada and devoting the rest of her life to her daughter and grandchildren. Friends and family will be received at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. A Celebration of Florence's Life will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m.

A service to commemorate Florence's life will be held at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on Friday, March 9, 2018 starting at 10:00 a.m. with a celebration of her life following at 11:00 a.m.
