Francesca Catarina Sorbara

SORBARA, Francesca (nee Tramonti) - 1921 - 2009. In her 89th year, peacefully with her family at her side, on Friday, May 1, 2009. Loving wife of the late Giuseppe Sorbara. Beloved mother of Nina (the late Antonio Rossi), Maria (John Varamo), Maurizio, George, Rosanna (Charlie Campagnaro), Rita (Rick Kierstead); predeceased by son, Vincenzo, all of Guelph. Sister of the late Francesco Tramonti (Amerina) of Italy. Cherished Nonna of 19 grandchildren and Bisnonna of eight great-grandchildren. During Francesca's life she touched many lives with her caring nature and joy of life. She will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Sincere gratitude to Dr. S. J. Traplin, Karen Bushell, Ann Flynn, Debbie Muddryj and special thanks to Domenic Rossi, who cared for Francesca over the years. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel , 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph on Sunday, May 3, 2009 from 5-9 p.m. and Monday, May 4, 2009 from 5-9 p.m. A vigil for Francesca will be held on Monday at 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 98 Alice Street, Guelph on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at 10 a.m. Interment Marymount Cemetery. A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 98 Alice Street, Guelph on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 at 10 a.m.
