

Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Hospice Wellington on Monday August 4, 2014, Gary passed in his 72nd year. He will be sadly missed by his wife Sheila and his daughters Lisa (Spencer) Enright and Sarah Maltby. Survived by his siblings Eleanor and Jim (Shelley) Maltby, Catherine (Cary) Alexander as well as his brother-in-law George (Joan) Perry. Gary was a loving and proud grandfather to Connor, Kyle and Lauren Enright. He will be missed by his nieces and nephews; Mindy (Jeff), Chrissy, Craig (Salina), Alana (Jason), Jamie, Lynn and Jessica as well as his great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents John and Aileen Maltby and in-laws Carson and Ange Perry. He will be missed and remembered by many long-time friends, many of whom he was grateful to spend time with before his passing. The family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on Thursday August 7, 2014 from 3 to 8 pm. A memorial service in celebration of Gary’s life will be held at the Hart Chapel on Friday, August 8, 2014 at 11 am with a reception to follow. A special thank you to the staff of Hospice Wellington for the sensitive and loving support they provided to Gary and his family and to the staff at the Clayton Dialysis Centre for their excellent care.
