Giovanna Russo

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Riverside Glen, Guelph, on May 6, 2015 in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Gaetano (2000). Loving mother of Gasper Russo and his companion Jackie. Dear grandmother of Paul, Robert, David, Tina, Jamie, Rebecca, Rachel and Jason. Great-grandmother of 16 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her sister Maria. Dear sister-in-law of Maria of Guelph, the late Concetta, the late Carmela, Gasper, Gaetana, and Angelina, all of Italy. Giovanna will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Friday, May 8, 2015 from 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the Hart Chapel on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Society would be appreciated by the family.
