Gladys Sainsbury

SAINSBURY, Gladys (nee Jacques) — Peacefully in her sleep, at the Wellington Park Terrace, Guelph on Friday, October 17, 2014, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Sainsbury (2012). Loving mother of Ron and his wife Luann, Cathy Downer and her husband Bob, Judith Sainsbury, Meaghan Sainsbury and her husband Matt, and the late Anne Sainsbury. Dear grandmother of Zack, Drew, Nolan, Allwyn, Madeleine (Jeff), Rebecca (Jason), Elyse, Justin, Eleanor (Nigel), Owen and Brendan and great-grandmother of Tyler, Lachlan, George, Luna and Quinton. She is survived by her sister Kay Montgomery. Dear sister-in-law to Rose and Ethel. Gladys was a member of St. James Anglican Church where she sang in the choir for over 30 years. She was also a 3rd Order Franciscan. The family would like to express their gratitude to the residents and staff of Wellington Park Terrace where Gladys has enjoyed their companionship for the past few years. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel. A Memorial Service will be held at St. James Anglican Church November, 2014. Details to be arranged. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the MS Society - Wellington County Chapter, St. James the Apostle Anglican Church or to the Donkey Sanctuary would be greatly appreciated by the family.
