Born, Gordon Walter-- Peacefully at Wellington Terrace in Fergus, Ontario, Wednesday October 2, 2013 in his 84th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Alice Marie (nee Mathiasen). Loving father of Jeffrey (Vicki), Peter (Sue) and Sandra (Keith). Proud grandfather to nine grandchildren and great-grandfather to Ryker Wood and Matthew Born. He is survived by two sisters Elizabeth and Dory in Switzerland. Gordon will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, Guelph. Visitation will take place at Kane’s Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street, Toronto, on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment at York Cemetery, 160 Beecroft Road, Toronto. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimers Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
