DOWNES, HELEN MARIE:- At Creek Way Village, Burlington, on Friday, April 16, 2010. Helen M. (Heffernan) Downes, age 90 years, beloved wife of the late J. Brian Downes (2001). Dear mother of Patrick of Guelph; Stephen of Nova Scotia and Martha of Burlington. Loved grandmother of Sarah. Dear sister of Rita Lovelock of Guelph; Doris De hueck of Georgetown; Marge Mondell of Toronto; Joan Smith of Guelph; Jack Heffernan of Ariss; Mary Ratcliffe of Beeton and the late George Heffernan. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Helen was a lifelong resident of Guelph and a longtime employee of Sears. Resting at the GILBERT MacINTYRE and SON FUNERAL HOME, DUBLIN CHAPEL, 252 Dublin Street North, Guelph (Tuesday 12 noon -2 p.m.) where funeral service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday afternoon, April 20th, at 2:00 o'clock. Interment Marymount Cemetery.
