

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 13, 2015 at her residence in Wingham, Ontario. Helen would like you to know her work here is done. She’s accepted a new quest. This quest will take her to a place where she will socialize with many love lost. Her parents, brothers, in-laws and many close friends. To say the least, she is in very good company. Helen has left detailed instructions for her family. Please celebrate her mission here, which has now been completed. Not adhering to these instructions will not be tolerated. Helen leaves behind her sisters, Margaret, Elvina, Alfreda and brother Clark. Her children, Judy, Marie, Bobbie-Ann (Bruce), Sandra (Jim), and Wendy. 12 Grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Helen will be remembered for her warmth and compassion for family and friends. Helen was a proud Lioness member for the town of Rockwood. Helen worked hard all of her life, jack-of-all-trades would be an understatement. She made a difference in the lives of many. We invite you to join us and celebrate together at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, for visitation Monday, August 17, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 11 a.m. in the Hart Chapel. Private family interment to follow.
