Ivy Dorothy Peden

PEDEN, Ivy D. (nee Porter) [Retired from Uniroyal (Kitchener)] - Passed away peacefully, at Guelph General Hospital, on Monday, January 19, 2009, at the age of 83. Beloved mother of Barry (Marj) Porter of Durham, Iris (Arthur) Kampf of Guelph, Jim (Jan) Porter of Oliphant, Adele Hardy of Fergus, Sandie Gagnon of Guelph; and mother-in-law of Connie Porter of Kitchener. Predeceased by her sons, David (1954) and John (2007). Dearly loved by her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A special thank you to all the 4 East Nurses of Guelph General Hospital, especially Heather, Velma, Taunya, Karen, Pam, and Barb, and to Dr. Martin and Dr. Moodley. The family will receive friends at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel , 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, January 22, 2009, at 2 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Parkinson Foundation of Canada or the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
