Jason George Kelly

KELLY, Jason George - Suddenly at the age of 38 years, on August 14 2009 in Manchester, England, en route to Thailand. He will be sadly missed by his mother, Sylvia Kelly; his sister, Elaine Kelly, (wife of Gray McCulloch), and nephews Michael and Philip of Dubai, UAE; his brother, Paul Kelly of Guelph and partner (Barbara Battaglia); aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and Jason’s partner, Phinprapha Donchomphoo, of Thailand. Jason travelled extensively throughout the world, including two cross Atlantic sailing trips. He was in the process of completing a B.A. at McMaster University. He completed courses in Solution Focus Counselling, was involved in setting up the LifeRing Secular Group in Guelph, and previously counselled at the St. Leonard’s Community Services in Brantford, Ont. A celebration honouring Jason’s journey will be held on Saturday, August 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, “Hart Chapel”, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, (519 821 5077). In lieu of flowers, envelopes will be available for donations to the Guelph Drop-In Centre, the Guelph Humane Society (Cards available at the funeral home or condolences sent to www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com).
