John Bueckert

Bueckert, John “Rick” Passed away suddenly at home on Monday, April 15, 2013. Rick was the loving husband of Bev and the beloved father of Jeff and his wife Kate, Alison and her partner Rob and Jennifer. Cherished Grandpa B of Madeline. He is survived by his brothers Ron (Jennie), Ed (Joanne), and his sister Marlene (Chuck). Also lovingly remembered by his mother-in-law Dorothy, by his in-laws Leslie (Norm), Pat (Dan), Doug and Darcy and by his numerous nieces and nephews. Rick graduated from RRCC in 1972 and then in 1978 with his B.SC.of Agriculture from the University of Manitoba. He worked in animal health then moved into the food industry. Rick was very involved with the Guelph slo-pitch, “Old Stars”, Ball hockey at the Homewood, indoor baseball, and Wednesday night volleyball. He was a wonderful person with a passion for woodworking and lawn gardening. He will be more than missed by all. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2013 followed by a Memorial Service in the Hart Chapel at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by his family.
