John Ferguson

It is with profound sadness that we the family announce the passing of John on January 20, 2016. He is survived by his wife and best friend Blanche. Loving father to Jason (Tammy) and Cory (Jocelyn). Cherished Grandpa to Bane, Austin, and Gage. Beloved Uncle to Jamie (Derek) and Chris (Lisa). Great-uncle to Jorie, Nolan, and Jackson. A good and loyal friend to John, Jim, and Dave. Predeceased by his parents Bill and Ethel Ferguson. A long time employee of Hitachi, he will be forever missed by friends and family. Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, for visitation on Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. followed by a service in the Hart chapel at 2:30 p.m. Private inurnment of ashes to take place at Marymount Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Make a Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
