John Leeming

LEEMING, JOHN - After fighting a courageous battle with lung cancer for just over a year, John passed away at his home with his family and friends by his side, on Sunday, May 8, 2011 in his 52nd year. Beloved husband for 24 years of Valerie Leeming. Loving father of Donovan. John will be deeply missed by his special friend Mickey (cat) and his three dogs; Griffon, Doozer and Quinn. Predeceased by his parents Mary (2008) and John (2010) Leeming. Dear brother of Mary (Mike) Dietrich. Loved uncle of Christine Dietrich (Jermaine Greene) and Laura Dietrich. Great uncle of Jase Greene. Beloved brother, son, nephew-in-law to the Timpson and Lotsberg families. We greatly appreciate all the love, prayers and overwhelming support from family, friends, neighbours and John's friends and coworkers at Blount Canada. A special thank you to Dr. Hutton for her kind and compassionate care and to all the wonderful Bayshore Nurses that came to our home. Friends and family will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, on Friday, May 13, 2011 from 1-3 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Cremation to take place.
