

On January 6th 2023 Allan passed away in his 91st year. Survived by his wife Christa, children Amanda, Daniel, Glenn and dogs Finley and Willow. Predeceased by his brother Ross. Allan was born April 28 1931 in Toronto to Harold A. and Effie "Birdie" Waddingham and moved with his family to Leaside in 1939 where he attended public and high school. Allan graduated from the Ontario College of Art, Toronto - School of Advertising Design in 1954. He spent his career as a graphic designer with Ontario Hydro, and after 38 years, he retired in 1993 as Supervisor of Graphic & Exhibit Design. Following retirement Allan and Christa moved to Stratford Ontario where he joined Friends of the Library, and volunteered at the Stratford Museum, the Heritage Committee and was a founding member of The Grand Trunk Railway Site Heritage Committee. As an avid art and antique collector, he opened his own antique business. His last years were spent happily with his wife, daughter and dogs in Guelph Ontario. He will be dearly missed.
Cremation has taken place and his ashes will be scattered at the Rockwood Conservation Area.
