MacLean, Joseph - Passed away peacefully to be with his savior, at home, with his family by his side, at the age of 76. Dear husband of Anna (Lyle) (Hanlon) MacLean and the late Marguerite (McNeil) MacLean (1996). Loving father of Jo Ann Riddell (Dan), Michael (Diane) and dear step-father of Jacqueline Hanlon, Bill Hanlon (Donna), Michelle Daymond (Glen) and Renee Pepper (Steve). Cherished "Poppy" of Yvonnia MacLean (Jeff) and "Grandpa Joe" of Joe, Richard and Ronald Hanlon, Mackenzie and Lauren Daymond and Devon and Mason Pepper. Beloved brother of Carmie Terberge (John) of Sidney, NS., Wilfred (June) of Pictou, NS., and Art (Eileen) of Glencaster, ON. Predeceased by his brothers Edward, Lester and his parents Laughlin and Catherine MacLean. Joe will be sadly missed by the Lyle, Bernon, Reid and Pettitt families and many nieces and nephews. Joe was a devoted member of St. John's parish and a Knight of Columbus of the Fourth Degree. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, on Sunday, January 3, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Joe will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 4, 2010 at St. John's Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
