Josephine (Giuseppina) Carmella Pigozzo

"It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mother Josephine (Giuseppina) Carmella Pigozzo (Nee Tessari). Born on May 27th, 1947 in Azzano Decimo, Pordenone, Italy and passed away in Guelph, Ontario on December 22nd, 2023.

She was the loving and devoted wife to her late husband, Romano Guerino Pigozzo, and is survived by her sons David (Jennifer), Dann (Deanna), Robert (Elizabeth), Ric (Claudia), and her grandchildren Ava, Maliya, Gianna, Roman, Julia, Alyssia, Domenica, Diego, Jaxon(Romano) and Riana. She is survived by her sister Gina Carere, and her brothers-in-law George (Nancy) Pigozzo and Giuliano (Louisa) Pigozzo and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Josephine loved her family and was their heart and soul. She put everyone else's needs and care before her own and wouldn't have had it any other way. We are comforted that she is now at rest and reunited with her true love, Romano.

Friends and relatives are invited to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home - Dublin Chapel (252 Dublin St. N. Guelph) on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm for a visitation. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist Parish (45 Victoria Rd. N. Guelph) on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at 11:00 am with a committal Service to follow at Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum (5400 Sideroad 6 South, Guelph).

Donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
