It is with heavy hearts, we sadly announce her peaceful passing after a brief illness with her beloved husband, Sandhu, by her side. Survived by her husband of 36 years, Mandeep Sandhu, brothers David (Dave) (Sheila), Timothy (Tim) (Valerie), nephew Robert (Raquel), niece Laura (Jordan) and cousin Gail. Predeceased by her parents William (Bill) and Shirley (Schneider). Remembered by many friends and extended family in Canada, India, Denmark, Norway, France, New Zealand and Australia.
Judy was born and raised in Guelph, achieved a 4-yr Honour BA Degree in Psychology U of G, taught ESL in Denmark for 10 years where she met Sandhu. She was proud of the fact she was the first female driver for Al’s Pizza! Judy was a passionate knitter, gardener and loved chocolate.
Private cremation has taken place. We invite you to join family and friends to remember and celebrate Judy on what would have been her 74th birthday on Tuesday, May 28th from 11:00am – 3:00pm at the Guelph Country Club, 133 Woodlawn Road East, Guelph. Visitation will be followed by remarks at 12:30 pm.
