GAVAN, Karen Kathryn - It is with profound sadness that the family of Karen Gavan announce her sudden passing at home on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. She leaves behind her beloved husband Michael Gavan, her son Ryan Gavan and her grandchildren Iain and Simon. She was predeceased by her son Sean Gavan and her parents Kitty and Bill Saunders.
Karen was such a vibrant woman with very strong values and morels. She had such a zest for life.... and coffee... and wine... and for her family, especially her two grandchildren.
The family has been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and prayers and generosity everyone has given them during this difficult time. It has truly been the guiding light to help them to navigate these waters, put the pieces together and rebuild their ship and chart a new journey without
their captain.
