Leonard Eldridge Schneider

SCHNEIDER, Leonard Eldridge-- Passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital, Listowel, on Monday, March 26, 2007, in his 94th year. He was the beloved husband of the late Vera Schneider (2003). Leonard was the loved father of Helen Hanson and her husband Fred, and Lois Batchellor, both of R. R. 3 Guelph, and of Bill Schneider and his wife Nancy of Coaticook, QC. He is survived by his son-in-law David Menzies of R. R. 2 Listowel. Leonard was the dear grandfather of Mike, Laurie (Archdekin) and Doug Hanson, Allan, Sharon, and Lisa Batchellor, James Schneider, and Ron Menzies. He was the loved great-grandfather of Matthew, Devin, Joseph, and Spencer. He is survived by his sister Shirley Foltz of Guelph, and by many nieces and nephews. Leonard was predeceased by three brothers Frank, Clarence, and Wilfred, by his daughter Dorothy Menzies, by his son-in-law Hilton Batchellor, and by his granddaughter Maria (nee Menzies) Campbell. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at the Acton Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Main St. N., (Hwy 25 North) on Saturday, April 7, 2007 at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Acton Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses.
