Liberale Lib Monico

MONICO, Liberale (Lib)— Passed away, peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Riverside Glen, Guelph, on Thursday, September 10, 2015. Liberale Monico, in his 82nd year, was the beloved husband of Gina Monico. He was the dear father of Doris Monico and Louis Monico. Lib was the loving grandfather of Angelica and Alessia Yeoman and Christian Monico. He is survived by siblings Guglielmo (Rita), Tranquillo (late Aurora), Benny (Paula), Gina (late Giulio Stocco) and Luciana (late Riccardo Turracto) and by two sisters-in-law Teresa Monico and Maria Monico. Lib was predeceased by siblings Giuseppe (late Luigia), Gino, Maria (late Francesco Simeoni) and Gianni. For over 50 years, Lib was a barber in Guelph. He loved his family, tending his garden and making his wine. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Lib will be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 4 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. John’s Church, 45 Victoria Rd. N., Guelph, on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 10 a.m. Entombment, Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
