Lisa Dawson

Dawson, Lisa (nee Stewart) It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful Lisa at the early age of 48 after a courageous battle with leukemia, on June 27, 2011. Lisa will be forever loved and greatly missed by her husband Dan Dawson and their children Quest and Kelsey. She was a terrific daughter of Don Stewart and the late Margaret and a wonderful sister of Paul and Tim Stewart. She was a loved daughter-in-law of Helen McDermott, the late Jim McDermott and the late Tom Dawson. Lisa will be sadly missed by her loving brother-in-law John Dawson, his wife Nancy and ex-wife Laurel. Sister-in-law Shawn Patchett and step sibling-in-laws Dave, Diane, Danny and Debbie McDermott as well as aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Lisa always had a smile and a kind word for everyone and will be fondly remembered by family, friends and co-workers. Special thanks go out to family, friends, co-workers and all the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at the Grand River Hospital for their care, kindness and support through out this past year. A Celebration of Life Reception will be held in honour of Lisa, Wednesday Evening July 6th from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m. at the Springfield Golf and Country Club, 2054 Gordon St. Guelph.
