Mena, Clara -- Peacefully with her family by her side at Hospice Wellington, Guelph, on Thursday, September 23, 2010. Clara ( Echevarria Lonaiz) Mena, age 78 years, was the beloved wife of Peter Mena of Guelph. She was the loving mother of Frank and his wife Carol Morgan of Guelph, Ana Mena and her husband Kris Size of Cameron, ON, and Ian and his wife Jessica Escorcia of Georgetown. Clara was the proud grandmother of Elizabeth, Tomás, Claire, Miréa and Alejandra. She was the dear sister of Maria Julia Echevarria Loinaiz of Spain. Private cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at the Church of Our Lady on Tuesday, September 28, 2010. at 10 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Amyloidosis Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
