

With heavy hearts and sadness we announce the passing of Lynda Weeks on Saturday, December 21, 2019, at the age of 68. Born in Guelph, Ontario, she is predeceased by her father Louis Macerollo (Harpo), mother Dora Macerollo, and brother John Macerollo. Lynda is survived by her husband Allan Weeks, her three children Michael Weeks, Alisha (Sean MacCallum) and Ryan Weeks. Loving grandmother to Lauren, Hailey, Maddox, Zachary and Ella, who were the loves of her life. She will forever be missed by her siblings Joseph Macerollo, Patricia (Peter Darrach), Daniel Macerollo, Louise (Paul Kelly, predeceased), Michael Macerollo (Beverly Self), Judy (Shayne Campbell), Ann (Jon Lankin), Maria (Sean Coleman), and Joseph Macerollo (Janet Wosik). Lynda will also be forever cherished by her numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and extended family and dear friends.
Lynda was an amazing mother and grandmother. She will always be remembered for being very loving, exceptionally generous and funny. She was someone that had a warm and welcoming heart, who always took the time for others and was readily willing to lend a helping hand.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation and gratitude to her family doctor, Dr. R. Danielli, Dr. N. Chan, Dr. V. Shende, and the wonderful Doctors and Nurses at Guelph General Hospital who cared for Lynda. We cannot thank you enough for providing her with exceptional care.
Family and friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel. 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Private Service will be at 8:30p.m. Cremation to follow.
Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Lynda’s Life which will be located at The Royal Canadian Legion, 57 Watson Pkwy. South, Guelph, on Saturday, January 11, 2020, anytime between 1-4 p.m. Private family interment will take place at a later date.
