CHRISTIE, Margaret Ellen - Passed away peacefully, in her home surrounded by her loving family on June 20, 2012 in her 95th year. Survived by her children Anne Reilly and her husband David, Alan Christie and his wife Debbie, Clarajeanne (CJ) Kleppe and her husband Hon, Joan Rivard and her husband Dan and George Christie and his wife Victoria. Cherished grandma and grammoo of Jeff, Ron, Adam, Johnathon, Pamela, Angela, Bryan, Cheri, Stephen, David and April. Great-grandma of Nicholas, Alex, Megan, Ian, James, Austin, Hailey, Mia, Kipling, Daniel, Denniella, Caeli and Kieran. Dear sister-in-law of Rudy Johnson and Claire Eatock. Predeceased by her husband Raymond Christie (2000), her twin sister Lillian Johnson, brothers Stanley, Fred and Alan. A special thank you to the CCAC Bayshore Nurses for their continuous tender loving care from the beginning. Margaret will be deeply missed by her caregivers Gelma Maria and Victoria. She will also be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, on Saturday, June 23, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at 2 p.m. Interment will take place on Monday, June 25, 2012 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Doctors Without Boarders, Arthritis Society or to the Canadian Hospice Palliative Care Association would be appreciated by the family.
