Margaret McKinnon

McKINNON, Margaret Mary (nee Samuel)— Passed away, peacefully, with family by her side, in her 93rd year, at Hospice Wellington, on Saturday, February 22, 2014. Margaret was the beloved wife of the late John (Jack) A. McKinnon (1982). She was the loving mother of Robert, Helen (Doug) Wright, Dale (Linette), Donna (Bruce) Gilroy, John and Karen (David) Doyle. Margaret was the proud grandmother of Hope (Paul) Shantz, Laura and Ross McKinnon, Morgan and Johnathon Gilroy, Marlee and Jack McKinnon, Jake and Josh Duby and Erica and Dylan Doyle. She was the proud great-grandmother of Haydn and David Shantz. Margaret was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Ethel Samuel and by her brother William Samuel. Margaret was also a very special aunt and friend to many who shared their love and friendship with her throughout her many years. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
