BERARDI, Maria Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at the Guelph General Hospital on Friday, June 14, 2013 at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Sante Berardi. Loving mother of Peter, Rose (Roy O'Connor), Angela (Steve Lillie) and Filomena (Calvin Hume). Cherished nonna bella of 10 grandchildren and bisnonna bella of 3 great-grandchildren. Loving sister of Oreste Ventresca (Dora), Teresa (Erminio Lo Stracco) both of Italy. Cherished Zia of all the nieces and nephews in Italy. Maria will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her many family and friends. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, on Monday, June 17, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers for Maria will be held Monday evening at 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held celebrated at Holy Rosary Church (175 Emma St.,) on Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Marymount Cemetery.
