Marianne Jean Fitton Lindsay

Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at Hospice Wellington, Guelph, on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. Marianne Jean (Fitton) Lindsay in her 75th year, was the beloved wife of Jim Lindsay of Guelph. She was the loving mother of Ted and his wife Heather, Susan, and Sarah and her husband Steve White. Marianne was the proud grandmother of Sebastian, Jeremy, Nathaniel, Colson, and Rowen. She was the dear sister of Ron and his wife Danna, and John and his wife Diane. Survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Marianne will be fondly remembered by her aunt Mary Fitton. Predeceased by her parents Leonard and Clara Fitton.

Marianne was a graduate of St. Joseph’s School of Nursing, Class of 1964. She was a nurse with Georgetown District Hospital for over 40 years.

Private cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass will take place at Holy Rosary Church 175 Emma St. Guelph, on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 11 a.m. The family will receive their friends at the Church, prior to the service from 10 – 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated by the family.
