Marie Mary Ferraro

FERRARO, Marie (Mary) Matilda— Passed away, peacefully, at the Guelph General Hospital, on Tuesday, October 7, 2014. Mary (nee Lazzari) Ferraro, in her 94th year, was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Peter Ferraro (2001). She was the dear mother of Jo-Anne (Roy Mason), Michael (Patricia), Patrick (Valerie), Dennis (Frances), and Shawn (Cathy Phillips). Mary was the loving nonna of John (Brenda), Brigette, Lee-Anne, Michael (Tracy), David (Jennifer), Maggie, Joe, Julia, Nicole, Alexis and Steve Bauer, and she was the biz-nonna of Brigette Madeiros, Cody Rogers, Alyssa, Benjamin, Ava, Olivia and Noelle. Mary is survived by her sister Jean McGarr. She was predeceased by her son Paul Ferraro (2011), and by siblings John, Gino, Dino, Sheila, Dotto, Rose Bell and Dena Chilton. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Thursday, October 9, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Mary will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma St., Guelph, on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 1 p.m. Interment, Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
