Marion Greta Mitchell

MITCHELL, Marion Greta (nee Abray) - Passed away in Guelph, on Monday, April 13, 2009. Greta Mitchell, in her 98th year, was predeceased by her husband, Frank Mitchell; and by her brother, Charles Harold Abray. She will be dearly missed by her son, John and his wife Joanne; by grandchildren, Jeff and Leslie; and by her brother, William Ewart Abray and his wife Jean. Greta is also survived by nieces and cousins. Special thanks to the staff at Stone Lodge, where she was a long-time resident, and to the staff at LaPointe Fisher Nursing Home, where she spent her final days. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel , 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Saturday, April 18, 2009 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow at the funeral home at 2:30 p.m. Interment of Ashes will take place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, London, at a later date.
