SHORT, Marlene Jane – Peacefully with her family by her side at the Guelph General Hospital, on Monday, August 5, 2013 at the age of 81. Beloved wife of Ron Short. Dear mother of Brian (Diana) Hambly, Gayle (and the late Joseph) Foster, Kathy Kelly, LeeAnne (Bruce) Paterson and Braden (Mark) Short. Cherished grandmother of Karen, Cindy, Thomas, Jody and Nicole and great-grandmother of Hannah, Maya, Daison, Lachlan and Duncan. Dear sister-in-law of Carol (Ken) Murchland and their family. Resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where family will receive friends on Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, August 9, 2013 at 12 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
