Martin Harper

Passed away unexpectedly at the Guelph General Hospital surrounded by his family on October 4, 2014 in his 54th year. Loved son of Ralph (Margaret) and Anne (2007) Harper. Missed by his siblings Barbara Couto, John (Kathy), and Paul (Charmaine). Wonderful uncle to Jonathan, Matthew (Emily), Caitlin, Paul, Justin, Christopher, and great-uncle to Benjamin. He will also be missed by his friend Christina. Martin was a proud employee of the City of Guelph as a transit driver for 16 years. Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, for visitation on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 from 6 – 8 p.m. with a vigil being held at 8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma St., Guelph, on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow with a private burial of ashes at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Foundation of the Guelph General Hospital or to Pancreatic Cancer Canada would be appreciated by the family.
