Mary Mildred Prentice Gorman

Mary passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, on Thursday, July 5, 2018, in her 92nd year. Predeceased by her husband Bill Gorman. Loving mother of Carol Gorman, Tim Gorman and the late Michael Gorman. Proud grandmother of Hilary Gorman (Tuka), Alison Plecke, Paula Szymanski, Ryan Gorman (Marjorie), Christopher Szymanski, Katie Gorman, Kayleigh Parent (Shane) and Grace VanHemmen. Great-grandmother of Jackson, Sophia, Blake, Tamahahe, Ada, Harper, Te-Ava-Nui

and Alice. Survived by her brothers Harry Prentice and Bill Prentice (Donna). Predeceased by her parents Hugh and Mildred Prentice (nee Hart) and siblings Robert Prentice, Jean Smallacombe, Irene “Rene” Reeve and Jerry Prentice. Mary will also be dearly missed by nieces, nephews and friends.

The family wishes to thank all those who contributed to Mary's life, particularly in her last years especially the caring staff at St. Joseph's Long Term Health Centre.

Cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel at 12 p.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
