MOWBRAY, Melvin – After a short battle with cancer at St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Guelph, on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 Mel Mowbray, age 80 years. Beloved husband of the late Linda Mowbray (2013) and the late Elizabeth (Hasson) Mowbray (1991). Dear father of Jeff (Renate), the late Cathy (2007), Lisa van Boxmeer (John) and Kristin Dillon (late Paul 2002). Dear father-in-law of Mark (Donna). Dear son-in-law of Donna Long. Amazing Papa of Nicole, Jenn (Chris), Adam and Melanie. Dear brother of Joanne Free and Mickey Mowbray. Predeceased by his parents William and Theresa Mowbray and his sister Norma Furtney. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. A special thank you to Mary for her love and support. The family wish to thank the Guelph General Hospital, 7th Floor and St. Joseph’s Health Centre, Palliative Care for all their kindness.
