Michael Belcastro

Passed away peacefully in his 62nd year on October 18, 2015 surrounded by his family at Hospice Wellington, Guelph. Best friend and soulmate to his wife Carolyn (Close). Loving father of Michael (Ellen) and Jeffrey. Proud Nonno of Bryson. Brother of Marina (Salvatore), Attilio (Brenda), Frank, Cathy (Bruno), Salvatore, Angelina (John), Marisa (Norm), Natalina (Pete), Tita (Rich). Brother-in-law of Cheryl and Terry Campbell. Son-in-law of Shirley Close. Predeceased by his parents Vittoria and Giacomo, and his father-in-law John Close. Mike will be missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. He will be remembered by his large circle of friends.

Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph for visitation on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with a vigil held at 3:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Holy Rosary Church, 175 Emma St., Guelph, on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. followed by entombment at Marymount cemetery, Guelph. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated by the family.
