

Rayner, Nancy Anne , O.M.C., of Southampton, Ontario, passed away suddenly, of natural causes, in her home on Friday, July 13, 2018 at the age of 71. Beloved daughter of the late Dorothy (Dot) and J. Herbert Rayner. Nancy will be dearly missed by her close friends, the Van Grootel and Luscombe families of Southampton, and the Hammill family of Guelph, as well as by her beloved cat Barkley.
Nancy spent her life as an educator, most recently at G.C. Huston Public School in Southampton. Nancy will be fondly remembered by her school family, including her many colleagues and students.
Nancy was a proud recipient of the Ontario Medal for Good Citizenship in 1999. She was an active member in the community, volunteering her time for a variety of causes. She loved reading, gardening, and sharing meals, holidays and visits with good friends.
Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she knew.
At Nancy’s request, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment at Southampton Cemetery.
