

Norma June Calzonetti - At 1:49 a.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2009, at St. Joseph's Health Centre, Guelph. Norma (Singleton) Calzonetti passed away after a lengthy illness. Norma passes on to join her husband, the late Vincent Calzonetti (2004). We miss you Dad, especially at this time! Norma was the loving mother of Lisa (partner Ken), Mark, Karen (partner Chris), and Michael Calzonetti, all residing in Guelph. Mom also passes on to reunite with her fifth and beloved child, Mary Beth (1977). Dearly loved by her daughters-in-law Helen and Barb, and Norma's many Grandchildren, Catharine (Shawn and their children Aidan and Olivia), Adam (Rachel), Leanne, Kyla, Jake, Nicole, Sarah and Joshua. Norma passes on to join her dear sister Sosie Bellenie, (2002) and her son Greg. She is survived by Ann (partner Julie), Stephen, Alyson (partner Tony), their children Jennifer and Matt. Norma is the sister-in-law of Frank and Marie Calzonetti, their children Laurie, Rick, Lynn and Joe, and Bob and Ruth Patterson, and their children John, Leslie (partner David), and Steven, all residing in the Burlington area. Mom was survived by relatives in England. A hello across the pond to Josie, her late husband Leslie and her children Chris and Nicola. Mom is having tea with Leslie now! Norma had a three year battle with cancer, and was helped along the way by a legion of dedicated health care workers and volunteers! A special thank you to St. Joseph's Health Centre. You took care of mom like she was your own. God Bless you! To the Hospice workers, Val and Elsie, you have been with mom for two years and your dedication to her was a gift. Thank you to CCAC for your guidance over this time, also to Father Noon and Father Ed, your compassion and respect for our mother will not be forgotten. She is in Heaven now!
Norma, lover of good food, music and beautiful gardens; an amazing woman who had the gift of being able to carry on a conversation with absolutely anyone at anytime! Rest now Mom. We love you.
Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph, on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation has taken place.
