Patricia Anne Fergusson (née Dunning), aged 79, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2024, in Guelph, Ontario. Born on June 17, 1945, in Galt, Ontario, Patricia was a distinguished scholarship student at McMaster University, where she mastered several languages and went on to teach French. She was an avid reader and note taker, whose intellectual pursuits were a significant part of her life. Later, she joined her husband’s business as an administrator, playing a crucial role in its success.
Patricia is survived by her husband Allistair Fergusson, her sisters Barbara and Susan (Bill), and brother, Paul (Brigetta), along with their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Freda Dunning, and her sister, Virginia (Don).
In accordance with her wishes, Patricia was cremated. No memorial service is planned; however, a celebration of her life will be organized at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Sons Funeral Home. Patricia's legacy of love, knowledge, and dedication will forever be cherished by those who knew her.
